Our Weekend Vacation...

This weekend we took a trip to the Sand dunes to try out Jeff's new four wheeler. We ventured down there on Friday Afternoon and spent the night, got up early and rode all day long! Traveling down to the Dunes was quite an adventure. Eureka is just a really creepy town. I dont know what you would even do there if you lived there. I think every place we saw was boarded up or shut down. Sam and Brie was nice enough to let us stay in their trailer over the night so we didnt have to camp in tents.. which was a blessing with two young kids. We all had a great time hanging out in the trailer, and having a place to let the kids nap when they needed to.

The younger kids were really good. They almost slept most of the night which was great! I brought my double stroller down and we put both Greydie and Jaidynn in it. I think they liked it!

Caitlynn had a blast playing in the sand, and having a few younger kids ( Sam's brothers kids) to play with.

We did learn one big lesson while we went down to the dunes... Which was when you buy a four wheeler, make sure ALL parts are secure before you try to test drive it. We are still unsure what happened, but when we arrived on Friday night, the guys took both ATV's on a ride. ( this is when the sun went down) Morning came, and we noticed our Air filter was missing. We had someone stop and get us one on their way to the Dunes, thankfully they were at the parts store when we called...

Everyone seemed to have a lot of fun, and we cant wait to do it again! Its nice to have a short, but fun vacation for the weekend...
