Living Planet Aquarium.
We took an hour or so to visit the aquarium in Sandy. Its a good spot to get away, and although there isnt a lot for a 1 1/2 year old to do, we still had a lot of fun. Here are a few pictures.
We tried to get Caitlynn to sit there while we could take a picture.. she didnt want to behave. :)
Caitlynn was a bit intimidated by the sting rays. She would point to them, and gently put her hand in the water and then say.. " ewww" it was so funny. She really didnt want to touch any of the fish, or the water after that.
Caitlynn just pointed at everything she saw, she constantly was saying.. " fishy.. fishy??"
Funny story about this. I brought caitlynn over to see the pretend crab, and she DID NOT want anything to do with it. She pulled away really fast, and started to cry. Those fake fish, sea shells, etc.. on the play portion of the aquarium look very real. Caitlynn was pretty scared.
She however didnt have a problem with spinning the wheel a million times. :)

How fun, every child needs an adventure to the Aquarium. I think it's fun to go. We took Mia when she was 2 1/2 almost 3. She wouldn't touch the stingrays either... and neither would Nate. haha He would put his hands in the water and then jump when one would sneak up behind him and splash up on the side of the tank. Too funny. We spent a lot of time looking at the Octopus. Was he still there? Looks like you guys had a nice time. Cailtynn looks way too grown up!
This is such a cute post. All the pictures are adorable. We went there & Lachele was pretty mad when we told her we were leaving!
We'll have to do a play date like this sometime with the girls.
